What is Clinical Pilates and how will it help you?


Clinical Pilates is a tailored exercise approach, guided by a trained physiotherapist or qualified healthcare professional. Unlike regular pilates, Clinical Pilates is designed for injury rehabilitation, pain management, and specific conditioning, rather than general fitness. The framework for the classes are derived from the traditional repertoire but, instead, broken down into clearly defined levels to ensure a standard, gradual progression towards normal functional movement. Scientific evidence on segmental spinal stabilisation and on pelvic stability will form the theoretical foundation for the group sessions.
